Included below are some helpful tips to make the protector last, and some of the incredible benefits included in the product's warranty. Platinum Plus Warranty Benefits

An exclusive warranty to Harvey Norman, if you purchased a new mattress and a Protect-A-Bed® Platinum Plus Mattress Protector in the same transaction, you will be eligible for the Platinum Plus Mattress Replacement Warranty. If your new mattress is accidentally stained or damaged when properly covered by the protector, and its sleep surface cannot be cleaned or repaired by a professional technician, SleepCorp® will:

  • Replace it once within the Warranty period with one of equivalent quality and value.
  • Replace the Protect-A-Bed® Platinum Plus Mattress Protector three times during your Warranty period if it is damaged by a tear during washing, or if the stain cannot be removed.

What does the Platinum Plus Warranty cover?

One-off incidents such as:

  • Accidental food and beverage stains, human and pet bodily fluids and damage such as a rip, cut, tear or burn.
  • One-time new mattress replacement. If stained or damaged and its sleep surface cannot be cleaned, sanitised or repaired by a professional technician, the damaged new mattress will be replaced with one of equivalent value.
  • If the mattress protector is damaged by the aforementioned stains or fluids and cannot be removed during washing or is ripped or torn during washing, SleepCorp® will replace the:
  • Protect-A-Bed® Cool Luxe™ 10 Year Platinum Plus Mattress Protector - Three times
  • Protect-A-Bed® Supreme 10 Year Platinum Plus Mattress Protector - Three times
  • Protect-A-Bed® Natures Luxe™ 10 Year Platinum Plus Mattress Protector - Three times
  • Protect-A-Bed® Cotton Cloud™ 5 Year Platinum Plus Mattress Protector - Three times
  • Protect-A-Bed® Stayclean® 5 Year Platinum Plus Mattress Protector - Three times

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

What does the Platinum Plus Warranty not cover?

Normal wear and tear or malicious damage caused by neglect, fading, storm and tempest, lightning, fire, flooding, explosion, earthquake, aircraft or other vehicle impact, including:

  • Accumulated food & beverage stains.
  • Rips or tears from animals.
  • Use of an unapproved surface agent.
  • Stains or damage not notified within 5 days of occurring.
  • Accumulated stains from perspiration, hair & body oils, stains caused by mould & mildew, colour or dye transfer, third party property damage or an odour emanating from the mattress.
  • Defects which are subject to a mattress manufacturer’s recall.
  • Replacement does not apply to used mattresses.
  • Accumulated damage over a period of time.
  • Mattresses used in commercial settings.
  • Damage prior to delivery.
  • Covered damage to the sleep surface or the base surface if the mattress protectors are not suitably fitted during use.
  • Vaping oils or damage from cosmetics.

Express Warranty Terms & Privacy Statement

Express Warranty Terms

By SleepCorp® making certain express warranties about the SleepCorp® product, neither the retail store nor SleepCorp® promise to indemnify or compensate the consumer for any financial loss suffered by the consumer as a result of damage to the product of the consumer.

  • (i) The SleepCorp® Express Warranties are given by SleepCorp® to the consumer;
  • (ii) The SleepCorp® Express Warranties are not given by the retail store;

and

  • (iii) The retail store is not responsible for the performance and discharge of the SleepCorp® Express Warranties given by SleepCorp® to the consumer

Privacy Statement

  • We respect your privacy when cleaning or replacing your mattress. Your information will not be disclosed to anyone other than those necessary to perform the cleaning or replacement and will remain confidential.

How to make a claim

To register a claim, you must:

  1. Ensure you have your proof of purchase readily accessible; you will need this to make a warranty claim. Proof of purchase can be a physical receipt from the place of purchase, or a physical/digital tax invoice.
  2. If you accidentally stain or damage your mattress during its use or when the mattress protector is being washed, please check to see if the problem is covered or not covered by the Platinum Plus Warranty above.
  3. Notify the Sleep Corp Service Centre by email on [email protected] or phone 1300 857 123 within five (5) days of the incident. Your Warranty claim will be assessed, making a claim does not guarantee its approval.
  4. During the claims process, we will need to obtain your names, address and phone number. These details will remain confidential, and only be disclosed to the necessary parties if a cleaning or replacement of your mattress is required as a result of the claim.

Product care tips

Any spill, stain or spot is like cement in the way it works – the longer you leave it, the harder it gets! If your mattress protector becomes soiled, it needs to be washed whilst wet to avoid permanent staining.

  • Act immediately on the accidental spill for easy removal.
  • Within one hour the stain has had a chance to sink and settle into the fabric.
  • By the following day the stain is set in and will take a great deal of effort to remove.
  • The key to removal of a stain is to act immediately!
