SLEEPCORP® SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE

Driving sustainable outcomes
across all areas of the business

Our internal sustainability committee, comprised of cross-functional stakeholders, regularly evaluates our operations to identify current and future opportunities for improving our environmental footprint.

Our focus extends across the entire business, from daily practices to raw materials, production, packaging, and distribution.

SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES

Our sustainability journey so far

  • Solar panel installation at our head office and manufacturing facility in Melbourne.
  • Comprehensive recycling program across all departments.
  • Adopting the use of AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots) for paperless order fulfilment.
  • Transition to electric forklifts for reduced emissions and a cleaner, healthier work environment.
  • Eco-friendly Heropack mailers for online orders.
  • Environmentally conscious sourcing of office and cleaning supplies.

PACKAGING

Sustainable, recyclable packaging

Committed to reducing packaging waste, we joined the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) in 2021.

We've set ambitious targets to move the majority of our packaging to be 100% recyclable in 2025 and are implementing initiatives to make this a reality.

To enhance consumer understanding, we're incorporating the Australian Recycling Label (ARL) on our packaging.

CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA

Step up and clean up

Sleep Corp® is proud to support Clean Up Australia’s mission to inspire and empower communities.

With a history of over 20 million participants, this initiative is a cornerstone of Australian environmental stewardship.

Since 2023, our team has actively participated in local clean-up efforts, targeting our local creek and park.

Interstate colleagues have also contributed to clean-up initiatives in their respective regions.

By removing waste and debris, we aim to create cleaner, healthier spaces for everyone.
